INFRARED SAUNAS WORK DIFFERENTLY
Instead of heating the air around you, infrared saunas heat the body directly - from the inside out. Infrared heaters warm the body in the same manner as natural sunlight without the harmful UV rays.
How Infrared saunas work
Sweat it out!
Infrared light helps our cells regenerate. It’s invigorating heat encourages oxygen-rich blood to pump through your body—relieving pain and promoting healing of deep tissues.
The most notable characteristic of infrared heat is its exceptional ability to penetrate far below the top skin layers. That means an infrared sauna can warm your body to a much greater depth and much more effectively than a conventional sauna. This important difference explains many of the unparalleled benefits people see everyday.
Infrared therapy works as a healing agent, with no side effects. It is used in pain institutes around the country as a form of pain treatment, and the FDA has approved its therapeutic use.

Q: Why experience our infrared sauna?
A: Detoxification, burn calories like you are working out (around 600 calories per session), boost your mood, and get glowing skin all in one single session! The health benefits are endless. We are happy to give you more information before your session.
Q: When do I need to arrive?
A: Please arrive on time for your appointment. We have a waiting area if you arrive a few minutes ahead of time. There is ample parking. We are located on the second floor.
Q: Is the infrared sauna good for my skin?
A: Our infrared sauna is clinically proven to reach deeper levels into your skin, effectively removing toxins such as heavy metals. Both collagen and elastin are increased after exposure to infrared therapy as well as enhanced skin texture, less roughness, and improvement in color. This can result in your skin having that glow!
Q: What do I wear in the sauna/need to bring?
A: We recommend you go in your birthday suit! The more skin exposed, the better. We provide towels.
If you come with a friend, feel free to wear a bathing suit. Of course, you can wear whatever you are comfortable in. Afterwards, you can towel off and put your clothes back on, but you can also bring a change of looser clothes if you wish.
Q: Do we have changing rooms/restrooms/showers?
A: There is plenty of space for you to change in the sauna area. You can leave your belongings close by as well. We have two public restrooms for you to use. We do not have showers.
Q: How long is a session?
A: A sauna session is a duration of 30 minutes, however your session is a total of 45 minutes in order to allow time for cooling off, drying off before heading out!
Q: What is Chromotherapy?
A: Chromotherapy, or color therapy, is the science of using colors to adjust body vibrations to frequencies that result in health and harmony. Light therapy is great for anti-aging and anti-acne. Included in our Infrared Sauna, light therapy is a great way to revitalize, energize and stimulate production of collagen for our skin cells. You are able to choose your own color for each session depending on what you may want to “target” that day. The descriptions and benefits of each color is provided for you at your session.
Q. Is the sauna private?
A: Yes! We use an individual sauna, in a clean, calming and private space. This way you can change clothes, sauna, and towel off in private before redressing and exiting to the front desk area. The sauna fits 2 people comfortably if you wish to bring a friend! You can choose this option under the Book Here page.
Q: How hot will the sauna get?
The infrared light will heat your body evenly, from within. You will experience sweating that removes impurities, but the air isn’t damp and heavy. You can adjust the temperature to your personal comfort - 120-130 degrees F to be optimal but you could put it up to 158 degrees. If you begin to find it too hot, you can open the door to let some fresh air in and cool down. Everyones first experience is different - sweating may start within the first 5 minutes or not until 15-20 minutes in. The more you come, the more your body will adjust to the heat and you may start to sweat more and sooner.
Q: Do I need to book appointments ahead of time?
A: Yes, you need to reserve your session ahead of time. We are by appointment only. You can schedule and pay for your session in our ‘Book Here’ page. If you have questions, please text 401.300.0757 for assistance.
Q: Do you sell water and towels?
A: We provide complimentary towels for each session. We sell a few varieties of water. Feel free to bring your own water for your session.
